I have had this happen many different times for quite a long time now.
Normally taking the app store out of the app switcher and reopening it
normally brings back the update screen showing what it should. From
what you all say, that is not exactly what fixes it though. It has
happened on different devices, different versions of IOS, different
times and maybe other differences from one time to another. What I
wonder is if sighted users get the blank update screen as well.
Actually I think they probably do becaue it appears when this happens
that the screen is actually visually just as blank as voiceover
reports. Yes the tabs are still there just as it reports and some
stuff at the top of the screen in the same manner. Luckily I don't
think this is our issue exclusively.
