Yes, it depends on what I'm doing, on a low usage day I can get 2 days
without charging however on weekends when I'm using my IPhone more to listen
to music or just fulling around I drain the battery quicker.

Subject: RE: Battery life
Hi Anthony,
It is difficult to compare the battery life on these devices since an
iPhone
4S or, for that matter, any iPhone, will never get as much battery life as
an iPod Touch or iPad simply because it's a cell phone which constantly
communicates with cell towers etc. If you were to put an iPhone into
airplane mode which means you turn off all radios, you get probably very
similar battery life out of it. As for the iPad, it again would depend
whether it's a 3G/LTE version of just a WiFi version, in order to compare
battery life with an iPod Touch you would have to compare it with a WiFi
only version of the iPad Mini and, of course, you have to compare it the
same way. For example, if you had a fully charged iPod with WiFi turned
off
and you then start music playing, lock the device and never touch it, your
music would play for as much as 40 hours (I believe that is Apple's
claim).
If you were playing movies with screen brightness set high and if maybe
you
were even streaming the movies from Netflix via WiFi, you may only get 8
hours.
This is sort of like comparing how far you could travel with a particular
car on one tank of gas. If you were driving across the prairies at a
steady
60 miles an hour you could go a lot further than if you were crossing a
mountain range in the same car where you have to slow down, speed up,
climb
steep hills and so on. And by comparing an iPod Touch to an iPhone 4S this
would actually be equivalent to comparing a car and a truck and of course
the truck will use more fuel just as the iPhone requires more power.
I suggest you read the specs about these products at www.apple.com as they
do mention battery life for their devices.
Regards,
Sieghard
