Hello. You cannot rename an app. Also if you rename an app it would still be the original app so it doesn't make sense to rename it. The best you can do as others have suggested his move it to a folder where it contains other apps that you do not use. My daughter has a folder on her iPhone called boring apps. Looking inside this folder it contains things like stocks iTunes compass etc. In terms of renaming, you can always use a two finger double tap and hold to reach the label section and give it a specific name. Note that this isn't truly renaming it though.
