I think, before you purchase anything, that you should make sure that the iPhone 5 is compatible with your docking station.
I purchased a treadmill with a docking station for an iPod, and I stupidly figured that since it was a I connection, an iPhone would work well on it. Well, my mistake. True, the sound comes out of it, but the screen goes all wonky and navigation is impossible, so, like I said, you may want to call Apple, or the docking station manufacturer to see if the iPhone 5 is compatible with the docking station. Just my two cents worth, and I'm not even sure it's worth that much. Smile.
