Yes. The HQ voices sound way better than the compact voices. Some
people think that the compact ones sound more human than the HQ voices
but they don't. I don't know if they're deaf or not but I can notice a
difference. The compact voices are robotic, dull and flat, while the HQ
ones sound human. Down with robotic voices, that's what I always say. I
use Cereproc Sarah on my Mac and either Sarah or Ivona Amy on the PC. I
do wish that Apple would allow third-party developers to make voices on
the iPhone like Android does. Then maybe I'd have Sarah on all three of
my devices.
