Hi, from what I can tell, you have been a member of this list for over a month. So, all the messages about this app should have been sent to you. I would guess there are at least 200 message on this topic alone because of all the questions and discussions. In short, Voice Dream Reader is an app which reads out many different types of electronic documents such as text files, Bookshare daisy files, and html files. There is obviously a lot more to this app. One of its great features is that it uses what some feel are better voices than the Vocalizer voice which the iPhone uses. Also, you can purchase additional voices to use within the app. The way it reads the contents of the books or files is done in such a way that your iPhone treats it like playback of audio. So, this allows you to use a 2-finger double-tap to start and stop the reading. You can also continue reading even while the iPhone is locked. This, I believe might be the only document reader which does this. Other apps like ILike2Read and iBooks cannot do this. There are 2 versions of this program, the free Lite version, and the paid version. For your convenience I've provided both links below. You might want to check out the archives for whatever else you don't get from my message or from the app description.

Hi all,
I understand that with the latest software update, you can use voiceover to
read materials in voice dream instead of the built in voices. i assume you
can use a Braille display as well. With that, I have two questions. Do I
have to enable any particular setting to use voiceover? and is there a find
command for finding text? thanks.
