Hi Neil,

After you double tap the "Speaker" button, a menu pops up above the row of
buttons and you have "Speakerphone", "Earpiece" and "Cancel". You have to
also double tap on "Speakerphone" to complete the process.

If you want to switch back, double tap on "Speaker", then find "Earpiece" in
the menu that pops up and double tap on it.

I believe if you have a headset connected it may say "Headset" instead of
"Earpiece".

You can use left swipes after you double tap on speaker to find these
options.

Regards,

Sieghard

Subject: RE: Trouble getting voiceover to speak during a phone call

Hi, I have just discovered that my phone seems to work better for getting
VoiceOver when it is in land scape. Others? I find the same thing in Skype.
However, one Skype question. I double tap the speaker button in Skype when
on a call and nothing changes. It still comes through the ear piece.

I know, more new user questions. But if this wasn't such a good place to
learn, no one would ask questions. <smile>.

Subject: Trouble getting voiceover to speak during a phone call

Hi, Do any of you have this problem? I am on a call and trying to find the
number pad or speaker button, etc. For long periods of time, touching the
screen offers no feedback at all. Every once in a while, I can get it to
speak, but not always. I'm not sure what is going on. Any hints would be
appreciated. I do have my ear near the speaker so I know I am hearing what
is or is not happening, I did discover that if I put it on speaker however,
it would work better.

Any clues?

Neal
