If you do contact Apple, let us know what they say. When I have had this happen, I suddenly have an okay button to press, when it occurs. On only one occasion was I able to get old Jaws to read to me what I was, as it were, okay-ing to, and it was that iTunes had lost the connection while downloading that particular track. Why iTunes won't just attempt to download it again, once It re-establishes the connection, is beyond my knowing.

Sometimes, I can go into the store section in the menus, while in the iTunes store, arrow down to check for available updates, and it will get them. On other occasions, I have used the following solution, but only try it with one track, in case it doesn't work and you end up paying twice. If you know what tracks are missing, go to the particular album, and pretend that you want to purchase the missing tracks, using the same Apple ID you originally used. When you press the buy button, it should tell you that you have already purchased that particular track, and give you the opportunity to download it again for free.

Subject: Missing tracks after album purchase

Hello all
speaking of iTunes problems, what's going on regarding some of my recent purchases where tracks are missing. They don't appear in the cloud either. Is it yet another problem with iTunes or should I consider contacting Apple about this.
Any responses would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Chris.
