Sorry if there is too much info, but I am keeping the name Text Grabber in
the subject line so you can always skip it if not interested.
Something I have noticed over time is that most of the OCR apps won't
recognise white text on black backgrounds. In other words, reversed colouring
from the norm. plus, the presence of other colours/patterns etc, give these app
serious jip! So, when trying to get some info from a CD cover, where the
writing was white on black, I tried the recognition with the phone's system set
to "invert colours" and got some, not perfect, but usable results.
I shall play with this a little more, and it may well be that for anyone
who wouldn't be using the 'invert colours' option, it will be of little use,
but if you do have it set as an option in the triple click home, as do I, then
maybe it is worth tryiing if you come across a difficult, inverted bit of text.
Ah! I should say that this doesn't seem to work for Prizmo!
