First off, close the app store & remove from app switcher. Reopen the app
store, find the 2 apps which you're attempting to update whilst the appstore
is still in the app switcher, click those apps as if you're attempting to
open them, should then update...

the app store on my ipad mini keeps saying there are two updates
available. I have tried to update these two apps but both the update
button and the installation button remain dimmed. can anyone tell me what
