I just went on a three mile walk with my wife and tried out the new feature in Navigon. On the way out I had Blind Square running; it did well except, because I live in the country, my cell phone network connection kept connecting and disconnecting. On the way back home, I tried Navigon. From the main menu I chose "Take me home." It then gave me the option of Vehicle or Pedestrian. I chose Pedestrian. Earlier, in settings,, (all the way at the bottom) I selected "Pedestrian Mode with Voice announcement." It announced, "In 0.1 miles, turn left on Carey Lane." Then, "In three hundred feet, turn left on Carey Lane," and then,, finally, right at the intersection, "Turn left on Carey Lane." Very impressive. It did the same for the next turn I had to make. I recommend this update; I have not found any bugs, and this little added feature is really nice. Tom Frank [email protected]
