Just stumbled into this group.  Same problems, Tune-in works great on Ipad 
2, Iphone 3gs, and constantly stops on iPhone 5.

I turned off wi-fi and LTE and it seems to be working.

I also have had trouble with NPR streaming from NPR news.

No trouble with MLB radio streaming.
