I don't have one of these, but would taking it apart, one piece at a time, and reconstructing each piece after doing so help any? Of course, you could do this when someone else is there, so that you don't get stuck and frustrated. I just thought it might help. This works for me a lot. You might also try the hand-over-hand method. You probably have tried all these things, but I thought I'd chime in in case you hadn't. I'm sure you'll get it eventually!
