No, I'm not quite sure what a dongle is or does but I'll try to make myself
a little clearer. Instead of using a dock connector that plugs into the
bottom of an iPhone, this Bluetooth adaptor fits in that same socket. So
any other smart phone with Bluetooth can connect as well. There is also an
input 3.5Mm jack on the back of the unit I just found that would let other
mp3 players play through the system as well.
