Hello, I decided to keep the StandScan assembled for reducing the wear and tear on the laminated carboard. However, when I did fold it up, one of label cover protecting the magnets came off. I did Harry and he was gracious to send me labels to fix this. May be in future the developers will consider producing the StandScan in a more durable material. I would definitely purchase it because the quality of the scan is superior. JMO. Eileen
