I have had my Amazon Basics Bluetooth keyboard now for several days. For a
keyboard that set me back $26.99 and free shipping, I couldn't be happier. The
keyboard is roughly 10 inches by 5 inches and less then 3/4 of an inch. I also
bought the Adore June keyboard case. I was surprised that the keyboard case
for 19 bucks plus change is actually made well. The outer cover is black
canvas. It's a soft material and not rough like one would expect it to be.
Inside the case is a soft material they call a kind of fleece. There is room
in the bag for the Amazon Basics keyboard and maybe an extra set of triple (A)
batteries. At first the keyboard fits in the case a bit tight but I suspect
over time this will ease up the more you remove and put the keyboard back in
and out of the bag.

The way the bag closes is there is a flap that folds over the keyboard and is
held closed with a Velcro patch on both ends. To open, peal the flap up and
back. The keyboard then is sitting inside the case with the typing keys face
up. I find it easy to pinch the bottom of the case with my thumb and index
finger and then pull out using my other hand about in the top center of the
keyboard. Rock the keyboard from side to side a bit and it will slide out and
it's in the right position for use. If I remember right, the regular price of
the keyboard is $45. It's still on special for 26 dollars and change. I have
no clue how wide ladies purses are on the list but if you can fit one of these
in a purse then by all means get one along with the case. Note: the case will
protect the keyboard inside from minor bumps etc. If you give it a real hard
knock like falling down and landing on it, it may or may not survive but if
that's the case, your iPhone might not either!

Sorry for making a commercial for the keyboard here. It's just that it's a
really nice keyboard. The keys are wide enough that typing on the keyboard
shouldn't be any problem.

I happen to use the HP touchpad wireless keyboard. It's pretty good. I like
the fact that it actually has a switch to turn the keyboard on and off rather
than a button, like the Apple one. I was constantly turning it on and draining
the batteries while carrying it around in my purse.

  Thanks,
  Ari

    Hi Simon,

For you, I would recommend the Apple blue tooth keyboard. You can get it
at the Apple store on Ste Catherine street. I can give you the address. They
are very good at helping us in that store. Usually, the manager is quite close
to the door and welcoming people. You certainly will get all the help you
need. When you go, have your phone with you and they will pair the keyboard
for you. I realize that the Apple keyboard doesn’t fold but it is not that big
and it is very thin. You will find it comfortable to work on. You don’t need
a keyboard with the numeric pad on and I seem to remember that it costs about
$69 in Canada.

Hi there. If you are looking for a bigger size keyboard there are several
options. Verbatim makes one, Amazon basics is another, the Apple Bluetooth
keyboard, and the Logitech Bluetooth keyboard. You might give the list archives
a search for these brands as they have been talked about recently on list. The
verbatim keyboard folds, and the other three do not. All of them are Bluetooth,
all of them will work with your iPhone, and some have more features than
others. For example, the Logitech Bluetooth keyboard will pair with more than
one device. The Apple Bluetooth keyboard is the official and recommended
keyboard but is more expensive. The Amazon basics Bluetooth keyboard is a
cheaper solution and I have recorded a podcast on it. Now that I think about
it, the Logitech keyboard is a little higher in price as well. However like I
said it depends on what features you want. Other people will have some
suggestions here on list, but I highly recommend searching the list archives
for other discussions since they are fairly recent.

        Hi all,

I'm interested in purchasing a blue tooth keyboard for the iPhone 4S
but would have no idea where to start.

I'm looking for something almost computer sized. Is this even a
possible option?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

        Kindly,

        Kayla K
