Hi Jessica,
I use the 15 second rewind and fast forward in the music app when
listening to audio books. if this is not showing up for you then you may need
to press the Album Art button to get the additional controls. I have not tried
this recently but I think that also a double tap and hold on the forward and
back buttons may result in a rewind or fast forward action.
