Another way to get to the description in the App Store on iOS is by changing your rodar navigation to headings and then flicking down till you get to description. This is what I do since I don't want to do excessive swiping/flicking through things like the screen shots, various tabs of the app listing, and other information. Once I find the description, I can then flick right to read it a piece at a time.
