Asking this on behalf of a friend who bought an external mic that plugs into the headphone jack for an iPod 4th Gen. Is there any way to someho set the iPod so you can hear sounds even if the microphone is plugged into the headphone jack? Right now, if it's plugged in, she can't hear whoever's on the call. This person can't use the earpods easily.
