If I understand your question, this doesn't happen with the iPhone. The
iPhone is a proprietary system and Apple doesn't engage in deals with
carriers allowing them to customize or restrict the iPhones they carry.

Hi all.
Time ago, I read on the list, that when someone buy a phone for a cellphone
provider, normally the providers install apps, or they restring features of
the device, because the plans that the providers sales, or what are the
features that each company has available for their customers.
Now, and iPhone 5 or 4s, from t-mobile has this kind of things also?
what kind of apps t-mobile can install in their phones, and what limitations
are for these devices if I compare them with a unlocked device?
thanks for all.
Yurs truly,
Pablo
