I agree with this in that perhaps it's better than nothing at all
because you can at least search for a program and setup the recording
but not having the Guide accessible in the app is a major disadvantage
and talking to them and emailing them does no good whatsoever. I tried
this route for over a year, same with Audio Description on HD channels.
You can get the AD on standard def channels however if you don't care
about high def. The rest of my family loves HD and so do I because of
the superior sound so limiting ourselves to standard definition just
isn't an acceptable option.
The direct TV iPhone app is perfectly accessible including the guide as
long as you set it to use a listview and their ipad app is also
accessible with the added ability to also have what you are watching to
be displayed on your tv by actually changing the channel on the receiver.

It works pretty well but there are accessibility issues. The TV Guide does not
work at all but you can schedule shows to be recorded and see what the most
popular shows are. It is far from perfect but much better than nothing at all.
I use it all the time.

Hey all,
I was wondering for those of you that have the dish network app, how accessible
is it?
Thanks,
