Hi there. You did not say which Twitter client you are using. For example the apps called tweet list and Twitterrific will do this. With both of them when you load the timeline if you touch the upper right corner of your screen and then start flicking right you will see the newest tweets. If you touch the bottom of the screen and then flick left you will see older tweets. To view the individual timeline for a user in tweet list first you need to find the tweet in question, then triple tap the tweet. Next you need to double tap the name of the user. This will show you their profile. In their profile you will see a view tweets area. Double tap view tweets and it will load the user's tweets in a list similar to your normal timeline tweets. Now you can run your finger down from top to bottom look at newest to oldest tweets. Or you can continuously flick right to go from newest to oldest. The steps to view users timeline in Twitterrific are similar. First find the tweet from the user you want to view. Double tap the tweet. The double tap the users name. Next double tap the number of tweets the user has posted. When you do this a list of all their tweets from newest to oldest will load on your screen. Again, You can run your finger from top to bottom to read newest to oldest. Or you can flick right to go from newest to oldest and flick left to go from oldest to newest. If you are using the normal default and free Twitter client I do not know how all this works since I do not use it.
