Ok here's what I do and maybe you can tell me if this app does what I want.
I have kept a personal log sense 1996. All the log entries are in their own
text file all labeled by MDY. I need to look things up from time to time
such as a string of text or key words. If you remember the old dos
application Readit, that should tell you what I need. Will this app for the
iPhone do the same thing before I shell out 20 bucks?

AccessNote is expensive, but it has some great features. When you open a
note, you're where you were when you left it last, and the Find command
takes you to the spot where your search text is. It's also the best app for
reading braille files on a display, if that's something that you want to do.
And it syncs with Dropbox.
