good to know that I am not the only one having this frustrating difficulty.
I have found that sometimes, if I flick quickly past the heading that tmakes
voiceover lose focus, I can navigate a little farther. also, if I find a
heading I want to keep focus on, I will double tap to pause speech, then
flick left and back to the right to have it read it. This is a temporary
work around. I do hope this bug gets fixed soon.

Exactly. I see it in Applies all the time. It's frustrating, because pages

That's because they broke it in ios 6. LOL. I notice it in Safari when a
page has a lot of headings.

a keyboard equivalent, so I'm not quite sure why they have yet to

Actually, I think Apple has a bit more of a serious issue to work
on in that they need to fix the way VoiceOver no longer handles
headings properly, so this may get put on the back burner for
awhile. Maybe, and this is a crazy idea I have, they could fix both.
