I know this feature works on AT&T iPhones. It did not work on Version
phones though. Why I cannot say but then on the other hand they have a
feature AT&T phones do not have.

Open Settings, Phone, Show My Caller ID. Near the top of the screen there
is a button to turn it on or off. Off means that the person you are

will not see your number.
