Dear list, a friend got an Iphone 5 last week and while attempting to restore from a previous backup (an Iphone 4) I forgot to uncheck the portion of encrypting a backup, needless to say we called apple and they told us that if she did ot remember the password that the backup and information coud not be used or saved.... My question is I want to backup the phone to Itunes but I am afraid if I plug it in will I be able to uncheck the box to encrypt the backup or will be prompted to enter a pssaword? if I re install itues will i be able to ucheck that box? or will itunes recognize the Iphone 5 and not allow me to ?
