Hi Sarah, This is just my own experience and your mileage may vary.
Since upgrading the iOS on my 4s, it seems like my battery runs out faster regardless of what apps I may be using. Also, I find that my phone drops the wifi connection quite often even in areas (of my house) where the connection used to be strong and steady. As I said, I'm not sure if this is definitely related to the update, but it is my observation. If I could go back to an earlier iOS I would. I hope this is helpful.
