Hello, I highly recommend that you visit the Digit-Eyes web site. Nancy M. has done a terrific job on giving instructions on how to find barcodes to get you started. Here are some ideas:
1. most times on a cereal box or on other food boxes, the barcodes will be on the bottom or on one of sides. 2. For round cans, find the seam of the label and move to the left first to find the label. However, the barcode may be to the right of the seam. 3. for barcodes on packages such as rice, chips, etc., find the seam on the celophane or plastic bag and try all the corners.
