Hi Simon, When there is an update for an app, you will find out by going to the app store on your phone and selecting the update tab. If there are any updates for any of the apps you have on your phone, it will tell you and there is a button that says update all. You can double tap that one if you want to update all apps or you can flick right and update individual apps.
