Greetings to the list. I am evaluating Earl, the news-reading app from Angle, LLC. Sometimes, after about twenty minutes of successful interaction with the software, although my wireless switch may still be on, my home network is not selected, which causes Earl to sen and receive data from my cell provider. Earl tech support says there is no reason to suspect that Earl is at fault when the wireless connection is dropped since the app cannot tell who is providing the data. For a wireless network to be dropped when using this particular app makes no sense to me, and I am not blaming Earl. However, I wonder what could be the trouble. The network is Verizon FiOS, and my connection is extremely reliable and robust. I am using an iPhone 3GS with iOS 6.1.3. All thoughts are welcome.
