Go online to Amazon either through the internet browser of your choice (I use Safari on my iPhone) and purchase the book(s) or using the Amazon shopping app (I haven't tried it this way yet). When purchasing the book, there is a combo box which you use to select your devices for the book to be sent to. After purchase, open the Kindle app and the book(s) will automatically download. If they do not, double-tap on settings, then double-tap on sync.
