Hello, Thank you for all of the responses thus far. I am using the most current update of the Kindle app. Also, in answer to chuck's question, the title of the book is sleep talkin man. It would certainly be helpful to have some feedback as to whether or not there are thought bubbles, but this certainly sounds like a plausible explanation. Disappointing, though! Thanks, Amber
