You're introducing variables not present in initial question and reply. If
you believe more than one person is necessary then this is yet another
reason why one might as well go with a sighted person to do the job well,
but this doesn't answer my initial question. Frankly, there is no answer as
sighted help is best for this particular task as specified by app developer.
...Guess I'm ultimately challenging the super-Blindy mindset that anything
can be done, which might be true, but it won't be done very well. ...I can
hear Raul reaching for his keyboard so I'll leave this thread as is. :)

Hi,
I wouldn't think this would be an issue. If using a iPhone or iPod touch,
more than likely the person can operate the phone with one hand while the
other is maintaining the relative position of the device. Any slight
movement should be corrected by the auto focus. I can't see a reason why
relative position couldn't be sustained while switching apps.

How can TapTapSee be used to help in determining location within frame of
camera and distance from object to be photographed? I guess I'm asking the
following... A sighted person can make sure all of one's garment is within
the frame of picture and as close to center as possible without being too
far or too close. How are listers doing this since using TapTapSee means
you're probably holding the phone in your hand and replicating the same
position probably won't be easy to do when you now switch to the Looktel
recognizer app.

Subject: Using Looktel Recognizer
Hello,
There are many on this list who are using Looktel Recognizer with good
results. I use the app TapTapSee first to get a good idea of the distance
and the location of what I want for the Looktel Recognizer camera view.
Once I get a precise picture with TapTapSee, I take the picture with
LooktelRecognizer. So far, I have gotten 100 percent results using this
method. HTH and happy smapping.
Best,
Eileen
