Hi Sieghard thanks for your reply. I have windows 8 on my laptop. I have used it before in windows 7 and it did not work well with jaws: the screen reader I use. also I would prefer not to use headphones with a mike. Just not a fan of headphones really. that is why I wanted to use the phone. I have done it with an app called remote dictate on the 4s but the app has been removed from the app store. only mac ones remane.
