Your credit card info can be updated using the iDevice. Go into settings, then into Itunes and App Stores. Tap your Apple ID, then tap where it says View Apple ID. Enter your password. On the next screen, tap Payment Information. That's where your credit card information can be updated.

They both say they are installing or at least install and update all are dimmed. I have tried restarting the phone after closing everything including app store in the app switcher.
