Hello: Generally speaking, I am not in favor of single ear piece methods for assessing audio while walking. If the traffic noise is on the same side as the ear piece, it can be difficult to hear your GPS or whatever other device you are listening to. For me, I prefer the aftershocks headphones which you can hear with both ears without having either ear covered. They are an even better solution now that a blue tooth version is available.
