I have had my phone in the Otterbox case for over two years, never have
taken it out once it was put in and other than the bottom flap not staying
closed I have had no problems with the rubber casing. I was considering a
case with a battery but, don't want to lose the part of my case that
surrounds the screen or the protection, especially since I accidentally
pulled it off a table not long ago and could not catch it.

Same here. It was just the rubber outer case that had a crack in the upper
right hand corner. I got ahold of otter box and they are replacing it even
though the year warrantee is up.

Wow, how did you manage to crack it? Those are pretty tough cases. My
iPhone has been in it's case over 2 years and maybe taken out twice.

I had the number for customer support for the Otter Box case. I can't find
the number now, of course. I need to get my cracked outer rubber case
replaced. Thanks for any help.
