I do not know, why you couldn't get the apex to pair, I use my apex quite regularly with the i phone, and have no issues pairing it. In regards to Eileen's issue, she probably needs to clear out the pairing on both devices, then perform a reset on both, and see if they connect and stay connected. If they don't, then I would start with the phone, and see if a bluetooth device such as a headset connects and stays, and if so, then you know it is the Apex.

I hope you're able to have success with it. I tried out a loaner Apex and couldn't get the thing to pare regardless of anything I tried. I finally just returned the device and got an iPad, keyboard and Brailliant BI 40
display instead.  The Brailliant pared fine and with no issues.
