Hi,

Alan pretty much summarized the i|Pod Nano, but I thought I mention that the
latest version, 7th Gen, does have Bluetooth as well.

I don't have a Nano 7 but I do have a Nano 5 that I got for Christmas in
2010. It's a 16 GB model and I only use it for music playback and FM radio
listening in a Logitech docking station we use in our motor home when
traveling. The Nano 5 is tall and slim kind of like a throw-away cigarette
lighter. Although it doesn't have Bluetooth, it does have a click wheel.
It is handy for music listening because as fast as you can spin your finger
in a circle, it can scroll that fast through song titles. It has a search
capability but it is not accessible. The Nano 5 does talk but it uses small
wave files to announce each item so there may be 400 MB of small wave files.
I found them 1 day and could play them on the computer and you hear Samantha
saying the song title etc. For use in a dock it can't be beat but they only
go up to 16 GB in storage. Even the new ones limit it to that 16 GB but I
don't know for sure about the Nano 7. Still, for music listening, they are
really handy to pull out of a pocket and plug in. I would suspect that with
Bluetooth it's even easier because you can use a head set that can connect
to 2 devices. If you have an iPhone, you can use the Nano for music
listening and your phone's battery power can be used for other things.

HTH

Alan
