Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can shed any light on why I don't seem to be alerted
when its my turn to play in Dice World? That's to say, whilst the game is
running I can hear the dice being rolled. but if the phone is in locked/sleep
mode, I get nothing.
Any ideas anyone?

Best regards,

Del/Crazy Horse

Hi there. It's possible that the extra push notifications may be causing more
of a battery drain. One experiment you can try is turning off notifications for
a a while and see if that makes a difference in your battery It might take you
one day to check out this experiment, so it will not be something quick that
you will get an answer to. By the way my username is rau47.

    Hi Paul,

I understand, I usually have at least twenty games going. Right now it’s
closer to thirty. BTW, I am Skhye on Dice World, with a capital S. I haven’t
noticed that much battery drain most of the time, though I’m not always careful
to keep the app switcher cleaned out. Are you using cell data or Wi-Fi? My
phone is usually connected to Wi-Fi, so that could be the difference. I
suspect, though I don’t have hard information on this, that cell data use
drains the battery faster than Wi-Fi. I’d also encourage you not to be like me
and let your app switcher fill up with apps, some of which, such as Tune In
Radio, like to drain the battery.

All, I have become addicted to dice world; thus, I often have 10-15 games
going on at once. As a result, alerts come in constantly for new games.

I expected a little more battery use as a consequence, but yesterday in the
afternoon I charged my battery and by this morning, it was at 20% already.
Should I be concerned that the battery may be failing or just chalk it up to
too many alerts.

    Anyone else experience this issue.

    Thanks.

    Paul
