I've had dealings with both Car phone warehouse and vodaphone so we're half way
there. Can I get a
replacement diddle stick so I can swap the cards? and can I do that over there
or do I have to do
that over here?

Hi Ray,

Firstly your phone needs to be able to take a sim card, and needs to be
unlocked. Then, if you have a peep at some of the sites here that offer pay
as you go, or payg, sim deals, you can decide which carrier's deal appeals
to you. Also, depending on where in the UK you will be located, it might be
an idea to call into a mobile phone store to check which providers have the
best coverage in your area. If you look on, say,

www.carphonewarehouse.com

You will be able to check out a number of deals for both voice and data
deals. You can get 200mb on O2 for 24hours for a little over £2, up to the
The One Plan on the 3 network which will give you, unlimited data, 2000
minutes cross network and landline calls, 5000 texts and 5000 3 to 3 calls,
for about £25 for a month, and lots of networks and deals inbetween,
*smile*.

I hope that this is of some help to you.

Enjoy your trip to the UK.

Regards.

Jim.
