Try resetting your phone sense this worked fine before. Hold down the power button and the home button for 10 seconds and let go of both buttons. Your phone will perform a soft reset and come back up talking. I charge my iPhone 5 on my computer's USB port most nights before going to bed. The last couple of nights, I've gotten a message on the phone saying "charging is not supported with this accessory." When I first got it last night, the phone was fully charged so I attributed it to that. However, tonight I got the same message and the phone was at 96% fully charged. Has anyone else gotten this message or does anyone know what the issue is? Obviously, the phone does support USB charging with the Apple-supplied cable. When I unplugged the USB cable from my computer and hooked it up to the AC brick and plugged it into a regular outlet, I didn't get any error message while the phone completed charging.
