Any of the carriers today will reduce your data speeds if you
become a data hog. If you want a plan like that if it's your
intent to stream movies and music, you'll need a premium unlimited
data plan which is usually a part of a bundle. AT&T offers such a
plan with unlimited talk, texting, and 2 GB of data sold in blocks
of 2 GB and 2 phones but it will set you back $195 a month. Sense
we use our iPhones for our home and work phones, it's worth it to
us. Rarely do we use a full 2 GB of data but we have gone over
that amount a few times. My wife got into Farmville on Face
book. They do say though that they may drop this plan for new
users. Our 2 year agreement is up with AT&T but we both like the
plan so unless something better comes along we'll stick with what
we have.

Hi Tony
Straight Talk, Boost Mobile, Nextel are 3 companies, which
offer roughly $45 unlimited data plans.
With that been said, I have to WARN you.... These companies
:claim: to offer unlimited data, but that isn't actually true!
I recommend that you read the terms of service for any of the
said to be "unlimited data" cell phone companies before making
a choice.
I have looked into all 3 of the above companies. As you will
see, if you choose to read their terms of service, these
companies CAN and WILL turn off your cell phone without any
notice or drastically slowdown your data speed. The companies
also state that if they should turn off your data or slow down
your speed it will be restored the next month. NOT true! My 17
year old son, who I refuse to add to my ATT plan, currently is
with Straight Talk. He exceeded Straight Talks "unlimited
data" for a month and they turned off his data. It has been 2
billing cycles and his speed is still very, very slow, to the
point that he can't update any of his apps!
Now if your plans are to just use your phone for
making/receiving calls, checking/responding to email, you will
be fine. I had Straight Talk for my cell phone service for
many years before I lost my sight and was happy with their
service. But if you intend on using your phone to stream
movies, songs etc. you may want to look into a different plan
with ATT, Verizon, or Sprint. Sprint has an unlimited data
plan, but I'm not sure how that works, you will have to look
into that one. Just remember Sprints coverage area in the US,
in my opinion sucks!
Read, Research, Decide!
Donna
You can use the $45 per month unlimited plan with Straight
Talk, if your phone is unlocked.

My machine has been down for about 3 months and I lost
my old e-mail.
There was a discussion of a cell phone plan with
unlimited data for
$45 monthly. Can someone please send me the info and
any experiences with the service would be appreciated.
Thanks
Tony
