Hi Tina, I did a Google search for "Blocking text messages for Verizon users" and the first link is for a Verizon FAQ page. Item 26 describes the following:
26. How do I block unwanted text messages? To block unwanted text messages from Internet domains and emails: 1. Go to My Plans & Services in My Verizon. 2. Select Verizon Family Safeguards & Controls. 3. Click Internet Spam Blocking. 4. Enter the offending Internet domain or email address. 5. Click Save. To block unwanted messages from your mobile phone: 1. Go to My Plans & Services in My Verizon. 2. Select Verizon Family Safeguards & Controls. 3. Click Call & Message Blocking. 4. I think Road Runner does some spam blocking.
