I can relate. I've only used the computer version of the app store a few times. When you're looking at an app, there is a Share button in the upper right corner of the description, right above the price button. You have the option of sending an Email or text message, copying the link, and I think you can post the link to Twitter and Facebook as well. If you find the Share button doesn't work, take the App Store out of the app switcher, then open it again and try the Share Button once more.
