Hi, I use gmail and I have a filter set up as follows.
all messages in the to: field with [email protected]
apply the label viphone, skip the inbox.
What this means is that if a message has the viphone address in the to:
field, it will get the label viphone, which is like a folder, it will
skip the inbox. The end result is that messages from everyone on this
list and even my own messages will all have this label applied. This
means that I see all messages sent to this list when I'm in the viphone
folder, including my own. Now, if you use gmail and don't use a filter,
then you will of course see messages to the viphone list in your inbox,
but you will not see your own posts. gmail has always worked this way in
regards to seeing your own messages posted to lists.

Perhaps it depends on how you receive your emails. I get each email
sent to my phone and my posts show up almost immediately. It may be
different if you are receiving abridged emails or digest emails.
