Hi Todd,

You might have to look into this since I'm not familiar with programming,
but I do know that another developer who I am beta testing for simply made
stuff that was not relevant for a blind user go away so Voiceover didn't see
it at all and skipped over it. I think this might be possible.

Regards,

Sieghard

Lisa,

Thanks. Yes, those mystery buttons display the text of the item. So if you
had a sandwich called Peanut Butter And Jelly, there would be a big photo
button that would show a photo of that sandwich, and below it one, two, or
three text lines in a text view depending on the length of the sandwich
name. Those display the words Peanut, Butter, and Jelly.

The complaint before was that people thought they could type in those fields
since they contain text. You cannot. They are for display only.

I tagged them as hidden from voiceover, so when you explicitly touch them,
nothing happens.

However, it appears that if you are flicking, you still have to flick past
them.

I plan to fix that next. What is your suggestion? Should I add them back
so they are not hidden, but have them announced as "display only text
field"? Thanks!
