Hi, I started a new book in Audible today. I don't use Audible much, so I thought I'd ask this question. Does Audible announce new chapters as it advances through the reading? I thought it used to. Is there a setting I need to change?
When I started this book, it started at Prologue. I'm used to Audible announcing "Chapter 1", "Chapter 2" etc. as reading progresses. Well, I figured it was just a long Prologue, as it's a history book and all the reading content I did today was about what led up to World War II. But it turned out, when I paused the reading to take a break, at "the start of the war", that I was in Chapter 3. So, although it announced "Prologue", there wasn't an announcement of advancing to Chapter 1, Chapter 2, or even Chapter 3. Is there a setting within Audible I may have inadvertently toggled to turn off Chapter heading announcements. It's an audio book from a major publisher, so I would think Chapter announcements would occur as I've encountered with other Audible books. Thanks for any insights.
