Hi,
It stands for World Wide Developers Conference, an anual
gathering of developers for Apple prodchts (iOS app writers
included) to receive announcements on new features on upcoming
products from Apple. This is also used by Apple to launch new
products or showcase upcoming software (this year, it was iOS
7.0, which will be compatible with iPhone 4/4S/blee/TBA, iPad
2/blec/bled/Mini/TBA and iPod Touch 5).
