The short answer is that it depends. If you have a 3GS, you will not be able to 
get the new operating system without upgrading your phone. If you have a four 
or four ass, there is a possibility that all the features of the new operating 
system may not work on your phone. We will need to hear from Apple on this as 
the release of the operating system comes closer. I wouldn't make any hasty 
decisions on your phone until you have seen that information from Apple which 
should be available very close to the release date of the operating system. I
